Clinical Admission Liaison

We are hiring a Clinical Admission Liaison/Evaluator to join our team at Athena Health Care Systems!
30 hours per week including weekends and holidays. Weekly pay! Athena Health Care Systems managed skilled nursing facilities throughout Massachusetts. This position will be based out of Haverhill. Must be an LPN.

As the liaison, you evaluate all potential referrals submitted to our managed skilled nursing facilities.
Experience & Education:
+ A minimum of one (1) year healthcare experience required.
+ Active and unencumbered LPN license in the state.
Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Perform onsite evaluations in order to coordinate admissions.
+ Represent the facility to potential patients, families, hospitals, and other referral sources in a positive, honest, and professional manner.
+ Communicate all available patient information to the designed admissions personnel.
+ Coordinate admission activities and comprehensive documentation.
+ Act as a liaison between facility and medical providers (hospitals, home care agencies, etc.)
+ Utilize marketing/sales techniques to plan, develop, and implement marketing plans.
+ Assist in maintaining budgeted occupancy and census mix.
+ Communicate with admissions teams to determine bed availability and review referral data.
+ Provide ongoing assistant to potential patients and their families in negotiating a successful placement.
Specific Requirements:
+ Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
+ Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
+ Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, patients, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the public.
+ Must have patient, enthusiasm, and a cheerful disposition.
+ Must be able to relate appropriate patient information to admissions team.
