We have an outstanding opportunity available for a Clinical Ambulatory Manager to join our team in our Oncology department at our Ball Memorial Hospital location in Muncie, IN.
This role will be a full-time day shift role working Monday- Friday.
The Clinical Manager combines clinical experience and contemporary leadership practices with the IU Health Way to achieve excellent outcomes. This Manager is accountable for translating and achieving our strategic priorities and outcomes: quality and safety improvements, care affordability, great patient experiences, and great team member experiences along with being accountable for providing strategic vision and operational planning for assigned unit. This Manager will lead an inter-professional team to create an environment where the team is empowered to achieve excellence in patient and organizational outcomes. This Manager will be advancing nursing practice by advocating and consistently embedding evidenced-base practices and professional nursing standards within the department.

Requires a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN). If bachelor degree not in nursing, must have Master of Nursing (MSN). Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred. Specialty certification related to nursing practice or leadership is preferred. Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license. Required Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.Anticipated job posting close date will be 08/17/2024
