Your Impactful Role

Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information in patients' chartsPrepare treatment rooms and patients for examinationHelp to maintain inventories of medical supplies and materialsOperate electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic testsGives injections or treatments and performs routine laboratory testsPerforms administrative tasks, completes appropriate client company and OSHA regulated forms, and provides assistance at the front deskKeys data into computer to maintain clinic and patient recordsAssist healthcare providers with patient care and administrative tasksCollect and process lab samples for urine drug screen, hair and breath alcohol testingConduct audiometry and spirometry testingProvide light wound care and suture removalPerform general office duties, such as answering phone calls, completing required documentation for patient care, or other office tasks as requested by provider(s) or supervisor(s)Travel to different center locations as neededOther duties as required

Qualifications:

Highschool Diploma or equivalentGraduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants from an approved Peachtree Occupational Medicine approved program - Certified Medical AssistantMinimum of two (2) years of experience in a patient care settingOccupational Medicine experience requiredEMR system experience minimum 1 yearAbility to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environmentBLS certification

Desired Qualifications

Qualified Drug Screen CollectorQualified Breath Alcohol TechnicianNIOSH Spirometry trainingCAOHC hearing training
