The NYU School of Professional Studies seeks a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor of Sports Management for the Preston Robert Tisch Institute for Global Sport. This is a nine-month two-year renewable faculty appointment with a preferred focus on sports diplomacy and international relations. Reporting to the Associate Dean of the Tisch Institute for Global Sport, this position includes teaching, scholarly work/creative production/professional activity (which may include applied research), and service expectations along with the responsibility to take an active role in building industry partnerships, advising students, and supporting the development of the program in the area of sport technology. The successful candidate for this position will be charged with developing relationships with industry partners to enable student and Tisch Institute program opportunities. The Tisch Institute's ten full-time and nearly 60 adjunct faculty members, along with its distinguished guest lecturers, prepare approximately 600 matriculated undergraduate and graduate students to become innovative leaders in their chosen fields. In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, this position's annual base salary range is $85,000 - $135,000.
