 Job DescriptionWebMD seeks a Clinical Content Coordinator or Senior Clinical Content Coordinator (commensurate with relevant experience) to regularly perform administrative tasks critical to editorial department efficiency and clinical content accuracy. This role will liaise with multiple departments, potentially including program management, legal, product marketing, account management, content operations, multimedia production, other editorial departments, and CMS development. This role will manage clinical contributor recruiting, communications, disclosures, and copyright permissions; coordinate medical team activities and projects; communicate with end users and clients; and assist with other tasks as assigned to ensure consistent on-time delivery of high-quality clinical content. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, comfort working with others in a virtual environment, and facility with a variety of applications.

Responsibilities:Manage relationships with content contributors (expert reviewers, key opinion leaders, freelance writers, etc.) on behalf of editors, editorial leadership, and the medical teamFacilitate contributor recruitment in conjunction with editors and editorial leadershipMaintain contributor paperwork, copyright permissions, and other documentation as neededTrain and develop external content contributorsCoordinate, monitor, and manage medical team demands and schedules as needed to ensure on-time delivery of planned contentTrack project progress, regularly communicating status with editors and editorial leadership  Effectively collaborate across departments to resolve issues ranging from audience and client inquiries to technical and procedural issues for editorial teams as neededCoordinate and facilitate communications between the medical team and other internal and external stakeholders, such as sales, product marketing, account management, clients, agencies, etc.Assist with administrative tasks, such as processing of honoraria and invoicesProvide editorial data analytics as neededOther tasks as assigned Skills, Requirements, and Experience: Registered nurse (RN), with bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred5+ years’ experience creating, publishing, or coordinating clinical contentExperience with regular professional communication with healthcare professionalsWriting that demonstrates correct grammar, punctuation, and syntaxProven initiative, problem-solving skills, interpersonal communication skills, and organized, detail-oriented approachProficiency in Google and Microsoft suites to include Word, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and ExcelExperience with Workfront or other project management tools preferredAbility to work both independently and collaboratively, effectively prioritizing work streams with high volume and firm deadlinesThis will be a hybrid role based out of our Atlanta office.
