Job Description

The Clinical Demand Manager is instrumental in propelling Clinical Demand initiatives and promoting PCT, PNS, Kryptor Immunoassay Analyzer Assays, and Thermo Fisher Scientific Specialty Diagnostics Group (SDG) products in Sub-Saharan Africa, leading to significant market penetration and brand recognition.

The Clinical Demand Manager will also act as a product ambassador and support Middle East and Africa (MEA) Marketing lead and Center of Excellence (COE).

Essential Job Functions and Accountabilities:Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance business growth in key Sub-Saharan Africa markets for SDG. The main emphasis is on PCT (85%) and also on PNS and Kryptor Assays (15%).Cultivate and strengthen business relationships with PCT license partners and SDG channel partner distributors in Sub-Saharan Africa, devising specific customer acquisition strategies.Drive licensed partners and channel partners' enablement through continuous training and onboarding to company-provided tools and collaterals.Lead and coordinate educational and promotional events such as congresses, workshops, and roadshows to elevate product awareness and adoption.Regularly collaborate with healthcare professionals and hospital administrators like Medical Societies, Key Opinion Leaders, and clinicians, dedicating at least half of your time to fieldwork and travel.Collaborate with the Commercial and Marketing Management teams to develop marketing strategies and establish Annual Operating Plan (AOP) targets to promote market growth in Sub-Saharan Africa.Drive revenue improvement and market share growth, translating central initiatives into profitable outcomes.Stay updated on and report local market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and regulatory changes to inform and craft strategic directions.Occasionally serve as a regional Biomarker expert to assist in customer acquisition initiatives.Provide clinical promotion support for other SDG products occasionally and engage with multidivisional projects.Produce a monthly report of key account activities, including factors affecting sales and competitor activities.

Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelor of Science or equivalent experience in Medical Technology or Pharma.Demonstrated experience in commercial and marketing roles, particularly in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, or medical product sectors.Outstanding communication and relationship-building capabilities with proficiency in English.Highly self-motivated with a proactive approach to initiating and completing actions.Excellent organizational, negotiation, and influencing abilities to effectively engage and persuade collaborators, customers, partners, and team members.
