**Job Summary** : Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the Clinical Dietitian plans, directs, and provides nutritional care to patients of all ages, pediatric to geriatric, conducts nutrition assessments, and provides nutrition education. A Registered Dietitian is directly assigned to supervise the Diet Clerks.
**Qualifications:**
**Education:** Must have education needed to be a Registered or registry eligible Dietitian.
**Experience:One or more years experience is preferred.**
**Licenses/Certifications:** Must be either a Registered Dietitian or registry eligible.Must be licensed with the State of Alabama.Must maintain current registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration and Licensure with the State of Alabama.Certified Diabetes Educator, Certified Nutrition Support Dietitian or special certifications through the American Dietetic Association desired but not required.Must maintain current BLS certification.
