Qualified candidates should: Position Overview + The Clinical Dietitian works closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy. + The Clinical Dietitian conducts and documents nutrition assessment, intervention, and ongoing monitoring and evaluation, including nutrition-focused physical exams. + The Clinical Dietitian educates the patient and/or appropriate family member(s), serves as a nutrition educator for the other healthcare professionals, department employees, and acts as a nutrition resource for the community. + The Clinical Dietitian manages resources in a cost-effective manner; participates in performance improvement efforts; and maintains professional competency and skills required for professional practice. + The Clinical Dietitian participates in various interdisciplinary teams and fosters continuity of care across all stages of the healthcare system.
