At FutureCare our Clinical Dietitians provide medical nutrition therapy, nutrition assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention for our resident population.  The Clinical Dietitian follows strict guidelines as outlined with FutureCares diet manual and the clinical nutrition policies & procedures manual.

***Starting salary range at $83,000***

Responsibilities

The Clinical Dietitian will plan, develop, implement and monitor the nutrition plan of care for each resident. Responsibilities include timely nutrition assessments, care planning, and MDS completion. The nutrition plan of care is accurately and clearly communicated to the interdisciplinary team, resident and families via verbal discussions  and written communication. Nutrition programs and systems are routinely monitored as part of the performance improvement program.

Qualifications Current Registered Dietician license in the state of Maryland Bachelor's degree with a major in Food and Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related fieldAt least 2 years’ experience as a dietitian, preferredKnowledge of the Nutrition Care Process and ability to apply all steps of the processA strong desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate wayPrevious experience working in a skilled nursing facility highly desiredSuperb organizational and time management skillsExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsAbility to counsel and educate othersDecision making, problem solving and collaboration skills a plusStrong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members Interested in this opportunity?
