Salary Range: $64,000-$79,754

Responsible for providing comprehensive, high quality nutrition care to patients throughout the organization. Primary area of focus includes the assessment and care of patients determined to be malnourished or at risk for malnutrition. Staff will serve as role models by practicing exemplary behaviors when working with patients, visitors and fellow staff members.

Maintain ethics standards within professional and hospital guidelines.Designs and implements individualized nutrition care plans for hospitalized patients across the life span, considering cultural and religious diversity.Prioritizes patient caseload based on assigned level of risk.Collaborates daily with interdisciplinary care teams on nutrition care plan development in the context of the medical management. Participates in rotating weekend & holiday clinical nutrition coverage.Completes productivity data.  Participates in clinical team by providing input to team discussions/decisions, facilitating open communication among the group, and by attending all team meetings.Assists with data collection and quality improvement projects .Practices within the AND scope of practice.Additional responsibilities as assigned/requested.Previous clinical experience preferred.

Educational Requirements

Registered Dietitian as delineated by the Commission on Dietetic RegistrationMaster's Degree RequiredMaintenance of continuing education requirements for dietetic registrationCDN Preferred
