Job Summary
Participates as a member of the multi-disciplinary Patient Care Team to provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education to meet the needs of identified patient population. Participates in the identification of patients at nutrition risk; assesses nutritional status/needs; develops, adapts, and coordinates the nutrition care plan for optimal nutrition management. Educates inpatients and outpatients. Participates in hospital and community education programs. Serves as a resource to staff and other health care providers. Performs research. Provides excellent patient and family centered care and service as it relates to Beaumont standards.

QualificationsRequired Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Nutrition, medical dietetics, or similar programRequired Dietetic internship in an acute care setting, coordinated undergraduate or similar Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved program1 year of relevant experience PreferredCRT-Registered Dietitian (RD) - CDR Commission on Dietetic Registration Upon Hire required
