Clinical Director, Unsheltered, Missing, and Transitional Youth Services
SUMMARY: The Clinical Director of Bellefaire’s Unsheltered, Missing, & Transitional Youth Services (UMTYS) plans, implements, and oversees all aspects of the clinical, financial, and business operations for the department.   The Clinical Director ensures qualified staff are hired, trained, and properly supported in their roles. In addition, he or she develops and manages the budget, as well as manages all clinical operations within the parameters of said budget.  The Clinical Director is also responsible for matters of compliance, the quality of relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and the achievement of desired clinical outcomes for the population served. The Clinical Director is supervised by the Director of Community & Clinical Operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: + Provide clinical and administrative supervision and leadership to the department of Unsheltered, Missing, and Transitional Youth Services. Supervise and assure the maintenance of adequate and timely client records, reports and billing. + Ensure that standards/regulations set by accrediting and/or licensing bodies are maintained by division staff. + Facilitate and/or coordinate staff training that will provide the skills necessary to implement the programs within the division. + In cooperation with appropriate Fiscal staff, develop, administrate, and manage the division budget. + Either through personal participation or by delegating appropriate staff, attend meetings and trainings put on by the Family and Youth Services Bureau commensurate with Bellefaire’s federal grants.  + Represent the Agency in the development or maintenance of relationships with other organizations including sister agencies, public agencies, managed care companies, insurance companies, funders and referral sources. + Assist in the development of proposal writing and fundraising activities. + Ensure that departmental staff maintains high standards of ethical and professional conduct. + Contribute to the development and maintenance of Agency records through the timely completion of assigned documentation in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards. OTHER DUTIES: + Attend scheduled staff meetings, supervision, and on-going training. + All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards. + Respect the privacy of clients and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment.  All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material. + Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures. + Other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or related field required. Licensure: Valid Ohio LISW or LPCC required. Valid Ohio LISW-S or LPCC-S strongly preferred. Experience:     Minimum of five years experience in clinical and administrative supervision required. Proven experience in public relations, community development and both clinical and administrative supervision preferred. Demonstrated experience working with children, adolescents and their families required.
