Clinical Director – Behavioral Health (Hybrid) – San Francisco

If you are in San Francisco CA or surrounding areas, you will have the flexibility to work from home and in the office in this hybrid role.

As a Clinical Director, you will manage the overall administrative functions of the center(s). This includes interviewing and hiring staff, monitoring the center’s profitability, and communicating its general needs to other corporate departments. Additionally, the role involves marketing and supervising non-medical clinicians. Clinical Directors may also provide community education and awareness, as well as consultation to staff members and other healthcare professionals on methods to help individuals recognize and overcome barriers to health and well-being.

Primary Responsibilities: 

Recommend, develop, and assist in the strategic long-range planning process as it relates to all clinic departments in support of the clinics’ mission, philosophy, and goals Make recommendations for business development and expansion opportunities within assigned territories Support the implementation of all expansion projects Provide leadership and mentoring for site leaders and administrative staff in establishing department objectives related to clinical practice, staffing, policies, and procedures Support the professional growth and development of clinical staff May carry a clinical caseload Collaborate in developing annual budgets and review and analyze monthly financial performance to achieve yearly budget

Required Qualifications: 

Advanced degree (LMHC, LICSW, PsyD, PhD) in Mental Health in the state of California 3+ years of experience leading, managing, and driving change in a highly regulated environment Have worked as a leader in a healthcare/behavioral health, growth-oriented organization

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs) Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with equal effectiveness

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
