The role ensures that evidence-based programs and treatment strategies are developed and implemented effectively. As part of their responsibilities, the position includes providing supervision to a team of mental health professionals, ensuring that the therapeutic environment is positive, strengths-based, and developmentally appropriate, in alignment with the agency's clinical values and treatment philosophy. Key Responsibilities: Clinical and Administrative Oversight: Manage the overall operations of clinical and clinical/administrative services in the community. Ensure service delivery meets both administrative and legal requirements as dictated by state regulations and contracts. Staff Supervision: Provide clinical and administrative supervision to mental health professionals. Foster a therapeutic environment that aligns with the agency’s treatment philosophy, focusing on strengths-based and developmentally appropriate approaches. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other service areas including management, behavior support teams, case management, psychiatry, nursing, and education to ensure comprehensive service delivery. Program Development and Implementation: Oversee the development and execution of evidence-based programming and treatment strategies to meet the needs of clients and the organization. Compliance: Ensure that all services adhere to legal, contractual, and state regulations, and ensure the agency meets all mandated requirements. Quality and Risk Management: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities, continuously assessing and enhancing service delivery. Intake and Evaluation: Take part in the intake and selection process for assigned programs, ensuring clients are appropriately placed in services that meet their needs. This role involves leadership, clinical expertise, and collaboration across various departments to deliver high-quality care and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards. Earned doctorate in psychology or closely related field with Pennsylvania Psychologist license (preferred) or license eligible, or Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, or related field and Pennsylvania licensure as a professional counselor (LPC) required. Three years’ experience in a clinical leadership or management role. Residential experience preferred. Must physically be able to provide behavioral support and intervention as needed to ensure client and staff safety.
