CLINICAL DIRECTOR
Pearl Haven (Ho`ōla Nā Pua) is a premier, specialized residential treatment center on the North Shore of Oahu. Pearl Haven is dedicated to treating girls with complex trauma who have been sexually exploited or at risk of exploitation.    The Clinical Director will be part of a talented multidisciplinary team working together to expand much needed residential behavioral health services for these teen girls.    The ideal candidate for this position will have extensive behavioral health training, knowledge and experience working with girls with significant trauma, including sexual trauma. This candidate must be a Licensed Clinical Psychologist or an Independently Licensed Professional in Hawaii or have the ability to be licensed within 90 days of hire.   This individual will be able to work well independently and with a team. Excellent Communication skills along with collaborating regularly with various referral agencies, regulatory bodies and health plans is a must.   A strong candidate will possess at least three years of proven clinical leadership experience in working with teen girls or young adults with significant and complex trauma.   Position Summary: The Clinical Director leads the clinical services delivery of the residential treatment program. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring excellence in the clinical development and oversight of all the clinical functions of the program.  Additionally, the Clinical Director shall ensure  clinically appropriate ongoing assessment of student mental health needs, supervising the activities and staff that provide individual, group and family therapy, and monitoring students with mental illness and/or receiving psychotropic medications. Depending on site, the Clinical Director reports to the Director of Student Services or the Program Director. In some instances, directly supervises designated staff.   Minimum Qualifications:  Eligibility to receive QMHP certification Currently a Hawai'i licensed Psychiatrist (board certified by the ABPN or board eligible in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry), Clinical or Educational Psychologist, APRN certified as a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC Currently licensed Psychiatrist (board certified by the ABPN or board eligible in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry), Clinical or Educational Psychologist, APRN certified as a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in any state with ability to transfer license to Hawai'i  At least 3 years of proven clinical leadership experience working with teenage girls or young adults with significant trauma Salary - Depending on Experience.
