Position Summary:
Coordinates the clinical activities pertaining to agency clinical treatment services. Provides effective leadership to the clinical staff. Ensures implementation of and fidelity to selected evidence-based practices and maintenance of licensing and Joint Commission standards. Essential Job Functions:
Oversee and coordinate agency clinical activities. Oversee and coordinate treatment services for clients and their families with substance abuse and/or co-occurring disorders. Function as team leader for a multi-disciplinary treatment team, coordinating weekly case conference Attend weekly case conferences as needed. Implement, adhere to, and monitor licensing and Joint Commission standards and agency policies and procedures. Monitor and adhere to Department budgets. Recruit, hire, suspend, and terminate staff within budget, salary, and agency policy limitations. Review and evaluate staff at least annually using direct observation and review of work. Implement existing, new, or additional programs to comply with all funding criteria including, but not limited to the delivery of requisite services, compliance with restrictions, and reporting requirements. Develop and maintain positive, effective community relations and partnerships. Represent the agency, as requested, at meetings of funding agencies, governmental authorities, seminars, workshops, etc. Responsible for ensuring maintenance of clinical records in accord with licensing, Medicaid, and Joint Commission standards and agency policy and procedure. Nurture and adhere to the agency’s mission, vision, and philosophy. Serve as a member of The Village Leadership Team.
Provide ongoing staff development and create a positive workforce. Provide weekly supervision to the individual Program Directors and/or Program Coordinators. Participate in monitoring and accreditation visits, as required. Meet with the VP as required. Assist with report writing for required progress reports for federal, state, county, and other grants. Monitor program capacity, utilization, and unit of service delivery in coordination with Director of Program Operations and VP. Represent the agency, as requested, at meetings of funding agencies, governmental authorities, seminars, workshops, etc. Completes all orientation and mandated training activities, including E-Learning Courses, within required timeframes, and in accordance with the criteria established for this position.
