Short DescriptionThe role is directly responsible for the daily operations of the new state of the art Cooper Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) in Moorestown. The position will have oversight of 6 OR suites, 2 Interventional Radiology rooms, 2 procedure rooms, the pre/post op are with 32 bay, and PAT. The ASC will perform outpatient surgery within several specialties including but not limited Plastics surgery, GYN, GI, General surgery and orthopedic surgery. The Clinical Director oversees daily practice operations, recruitment, retention, adherence to policies and procedures, supports ongoing education of staff, ensure compliance with policies and procedures, and responsible for fiscal responsibility of unit/department.
Directs and coordinates effective operations of the unit/department with 24/7 responsibility to ensure continuity of care and oversight of other management functions.Directs and coordinates quality efforts of the unit/department to align with organizational goals. Ensures delivery of quality patient care and interdepartmental collaboration of best practicesResponsible for overseeing the departmental budget to ensure financial accountability for cost effective/efficient provision of careResponsible for supporting a healthy work environment which engages staff and supports professional growth and developmentFacilitates ongoing education and ensures clinical competency of nursing personnel adherence to nursing policiesResponsible for interviewing and onboarding clinical staffResponsible for coordinating with the AVP of Surgical Services the clinical departmental needs according to administrative and patient care guidelines Ensures patient data and medical records are maintained in confidential manner Experience Required 3-5 years of experience in a Perioperative Leadership role Education Requirements Bachelors required; Masters preferred License/Certification Requirements Required: Current licensure as a RN in the state of New JerseyRequired: BLSPreferred: Certification within specialty area (CCRN, CMSRN, CNOR, CEN, PCCN, CNML, NE-BC…) Special Requirements Scheduled Days / Hours: 24/7 accountability Options Apply for this job onlineApplyShareRefer this job to a friendRefer Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
