Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborates with the CEQM, and the team for all local clinical initiatives.Collaborates with CEQM in providing onboarding training requirements for new FKC clinic staff.Provides regular and as-needed clinical education to current FKC staff on renal dialysis as Nursing-related knowledge in the form of in- service, course, and training.Collaborates with Unit Heads on orientation programs, coaching sessions, and clinical competency advancement initiatives.Ensures and monitors that all clinic staff have the required and up-to-date CPDs, and trainings (e.g., BLS and ACLS, Diabetic foot Care Assessment, Vascular Access Training, FMC Machine training).Collaborates with QEM in coordination with relevant internal and external stakeholders and education/training providers.Ensures that all clinical staff have continuing education through APEC programs and AP clinical education e-learning materials.Provides, as per coordination, training/education to other FMC Phil. entities.Collaborates with CEQM in conducting clinical audit; and in the actual preparation of FKC clinics for ACHSI accreditation initiatives, and global and local clinical alignment program.Monitors the Passport to Patient Care Program of our FKC nurses.Monitors and supports Clinical Education Officer in the project implementation of EuCliD, MyCompanion, DrApp in FKC clinics.Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Nurse, with a valid PRC RN licenseHas Advanced Diploma in Nursing (Nephrology) or equivalentPreferably with 10 years of Nursing experience, 5 years of which is in renal careHas experience in clinical education and quality improvement initiativesMinimum of five years relevant nursing experience, with an approved nephrology nursing qualificationWith proven ability to continuously reflect on nursing practice and apply learning as appropriateDemonstrated organizational decision-making, and problem-solving skills, combined with the ability to be self-directedEducational skills and demonstrated ability to train others in contemporary nursing practiceDemonstrated commitment to quality improvement
