· BScN from an accredited school required
· Must possess current valid license as a registered nurse
· Degree or certificate in Adult Education preferred
· Wound care and ostomy, central venous access, palliative, advance dementia care certificate or courses preferred
ExperienceExperience as a RN with 3-5 years of working in a home care and/or acute care settings. Excellent documentation skills and knowledge of CNO standards and RNAO best practices. Previous experience assessing patients as well as training and mentoring staff. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office products, knowledge of various documentation systems. Knowledge of other applications is an asset, such as, eLearning software.
Must have access to own vehicle and willingness to travel to various work sites within Ontario
Other Skills and AbilitiesExcellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to prioritize demands. Experience working with Microsoft Windows, Office and Web Conferencing Software. A minimum of 3 year of hands-on experience using a clinical documentation system. Strong organization as well as verbal and written communication skills. Excellent customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members from various disciplines.
