This is a full-time position with flexible scheduling; Monday through Friday with some weekend commitment requirement 40hours per week. Requirements and Qualifications: + Sound Medical Surgical experience of at least 5 years + Strong communication and organizational skills + Active NJ Registered Professional Nurse + BLS and ACLS required + BSN required + MSN preferred or must be enrolled in MSN program + National certification for clinical specialty required + Proficient computer skills Responsibilities: + Plan and design orientation, continuing education, and in-service programs in accordance with the requirements of NJ Board of Nursing current regulatory guidelines and the Code of Ethics and institutional guidelines. + Implement and evaluate educational activities/programs + Develop and maintain employee records + Serve as a resource person for education and promoted education in the Nursing Division, + Responsible for maintaining competencies as required by regulatory agencies + Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to create and deliver education to ensure quality and best practice RWJBarnabas Health is an Equal Opportunity Employer
