Responsibilities Job Summary The primary function of the Non-Exempt Clinical Nurse Educator is to provide teaching and instruction in support of activities such as Clinical Orientation, Nurse Graduate Residency Program, Life Support Classes, Continuing Education Programs and/or in-services. Teaches courses and provides training to nursing and non-nursing clinical staff. Ensures all instruction meets regulatory, organization, and department policies and standards. Maintains current knowledge of trends and practice changes in areas of expertise. Promotes and facilitates critical thinking among nursing and non-nursing staff. Performs all needed education documentation and recordkeeping activities related to assigned training activities. Provides interim coverage for staffing vacancies or supplements when additional resources needed for training activities. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in nursing Required Experience 3 years working in an adult care setting as a direct care RN Required Licenses and Certifications Nursing\RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure And/Or Compact State Licensure Licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Arizona Required Clinical Other\BCLS - Basic Life Support Certification in BLS Required
