The Clinical Hand Scorer is responsible for scoring and entering data from portions of psychological tests that are currently being developed.
The Clinical Hand Scorer will report to the Field Research Scoring Lead. Training will be scheduled and be led by the Clinical Assessment Development Team.
Hand Scorer will be responsible for the following:
· Apply judgment to score subjective data using scoring guidelines and rubrics
· Enter data from subtests into the Clinical Scoring System
Note to applicants: Assignment duration is 6 months.
Qualifications:
· Proficient in written and spoken English
· Strong English grammar and mechanic skills
· Possess good, critical thinking skills to apply basic scoring rules
· Possess sufficient computer skills to perform data entry (e.g., basic computer knowledge and familiarity, with Excel, Adobe Acrobat/Foxit Editor)
· Achieve a scoring accuracy rate of, at least, 95% after training, and maintain that level throughout the project
· Be able to recognize questionable or problematic cases that require attention from the FR Scoring Lead and Content Development (e.g., cases with missing or unusual data, numerous cases with questionable data from the same examiner).
· Ability to perform independently without consulting others (i.e., willing to perform quiet work without consulting with co-workers on scoring decisions)
· Able to work 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday. Both remotely and on-site(if applicable)
· Be reliable, punctual, and in attendance every day
· Be flexible and willing to perform other processes within Field Research (e.g Case Check-in, Case Review)
· Prior experience working with & evaluating clinical test administrations is highly preferred
· Education Required: Bachelor’s degree (or higher), with a preference for Psychology, Teaching, Special Education, or a related discipline
