Clinical Implementation Pharmacy Intern (Graduate - Summer 2025)

During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time. **_Please provide a cover letter and a resume as part of your application._** Position Purpose: To perform duties to support the efforts of the pharmacy prior operations department in the coordination and execution of the health plan’s pharmacy program. Learn about various processes and functions within the Managed Care industry and develop professionally by contributing to projects that support the business. Duties: + Creation of decision tools, which requires working knowledge of formulary maintenance, literature evaluation, and expertise on company and state/national compliance requirements by line of business and health plan + Manage configuration of decision tools via coordinated projects + Perform quality review via user acceptance testing of decision tools in proprietary systems + Track and trend performance of decision tools using data analytics to identify utilization patterns, assess user experience, and implement solutions for improvement **Experience/Experience:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent undergraduate coursework completed. Must be enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited university or college in a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
