The AMR Manager is heavily involved in the tracking of ambulatory go live success.  This role will provide tracking and trending of statistics required to analyze the success of new providers to ramp up to expected MGMA percentages. Based on workflow assessments/audits, this role will provide on site and remote optimization opportunities. As well, the Regional AMR Manager will be involved in ensuring training is provided (whether by market embedded individuals or online modules/videos) to the clinical staff supporting newly onboarded providers.  This role works collaboratively with market AMR staff to ensure providers and staff have met all required elements of training.  The Regional AMR Manager is able to train to specific AMR workflows and has a strong understanding of best practice clinical workflows.  This role will ensure AMR tasks are worked timely and correctly by meeting regularly with market AMR staff and Clinic Managers to review the expectations, policies and actual numbers of tasks within their clinical dashboards.

Essential Functions

Maintain go live success programming which includes ensuring providers and their clinical staff have completed required training modules and have scheduled at the elbow go live support. Performs monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly oversight meetings with all  markets in their respective region  to review AMR task dashboards.  This includes ensuring action plans are in place for clean up where needed.  As well the notes from these meetings will be shared with operations both locally and regionally to collaborate on dotted line oversight. Performs workflow analysis as needed where data or feedback shows the need.  Schedules on site or remote optimization to ensure needs are addressed and followed up. Assist the AMR Director in random auditing of the market embedded AMR Coordinator workflows by use of the roles and responsibilities checklist.  This includes sharing the collected data with their local and regional leadership to collaborate on dotted line oversight. Present on the regularly scheduled AMR meetings by providing agenda content.  As well, present reports and data collection on the success of go live events to the Regional Practice Directors (RPDs) on a monthly basis. Conduct outreach with acute side Clinical Informaticists concerning specialty specific collaboration and growth with the onboarding of new providers. Collaborate and assist in the oversight of “Mass Update Document Request Cases” within the AMR. Assist AMR Director in creation and oversight of workflow demonstration videos and/or documents that ensure all end users are compliant with workflows that impact Promoting Interoperability measures and Quality Measures. As needed, assist in interviewing/hiring contracted trainers. As needed, create workflow videos and/or workflow documents when new AMR releases and/or new vendors present opportunities for changes and or possible workflow efficiencies in the AMR. Collaborate with corporate counterparts to ensure clinical workflows follow not only best practice “clinical” workflows, but are in compliance with HIIM and PPSi expectations for portal, billing, coding and the management of patient charts and the data held within. Travel to market sites in their respective region as needed for oversight of AMR Coordinators and/or Go Live Support.

Qualifications

Clinical Licensure/Certification; or 3-5 years related ambulatory electronic health record experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience College degree in Health Sciences or 5 years experience as a CMA, LVN, RN using an electronic medical record 2  years managerial experience; Recent ambulatory EHR and Clinical Informatics experience
