RESPONSIBILITIES I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: • Utilizes knowledge of the Epic system, pharmacy operations and clinical workflow to serve as a liaison and primary contact between pharmacy end users throughout The Queen’s Health Systems (QHS) and the Epic/CARE*Link Willow and Clinical Informatics teams. II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS: • Seeing, hearing, speaking, standing, sitting, walking. • Occasional: stooping/bending, kneeling, climbing stairs, walking on uneven ground, squatting, twisting body, finger dexterity, lifting usual weight of 5 pounds up to 25 pounds, pushing/pulling usual weight of 1 pound of force up to 5 pounds of force, carrying usual weight of 5 pounds up to 20 pounds, reaching above and at shoulder level, reaching below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions, frequent gripping of an object. III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS: • Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. • Exposure to hazardous drugs, antibiotics, chemicals, dust, odors and cleaning/ disinfectant fumes. • May be exposed to communicable diseases. IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE: • Current Hawaii State license as a Pharmacist. • Doctor of Pharmacy degree. B. EXPERIENCE: • Two (2) years clinical hospital (inpatient) pharmacy experience required. • Willow EPIC training certification required. If not certified upon hire, must be obtained within two (2) years of entrance into the position. • Experience to demonstrate: o Knowledge and demonstrated experience with electronic medical records (preferably Epic), clinical informatics, computer word-processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications. o Strong sense of customer service to consistently and effectively address business and clinical partners’ needs. o Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities and direction in projects and core work. o Enjoys participating in a collaborative work environment partnering with colleagues inside and outside of own department.
