Job Summary:Join our team as a Clinical Intake Specialist and make a difference in the lives of others. As a Master's level licensed provider, you will work closely with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, MDs, and Psychiatrists to provide routine consultations, clinical intakes, crisis services, and therapeutic assessments and interventions. You will be part of a dynamic treatment team in the Behavioral Crisis Center environment, promoting positive coping behaviors and addressing immediate needs related to psychological health, safety, and substance use disorders. · Provide follow-up bridge and regular therapy interventions as needed to meet appropriate and timely referral availability guidelines.
· Routinely engage clients to screen and evaluate progress and modify crisis services to meet individual treatment goals.
· Collaborate with the provider and nursing team to facilitate integrated patient care.
· Develop specific and goal-directed interventions using routine screening and monitoring forms.
· Provide educational materials and community resources to help clients maintain effective coping strategies.
· Maintain records for each patient in accordance with system policies and procedures.Education and/or Experience Qualifications:· Master's degree and current unrestricted PLPC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW license.
· Minimum of 2 years' experience (preferred).
· Experience working in a medical setting (preferred).
Additional Qualifications:
· Must be at least 21 years old.· Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
· Ability to follow direction and accept supervision.
