Clinical Lab Technician - HLA Lab

Vitalant is hiring entry-level and experienced Clinical Laboratory Technicians to bring skilled technical support to our HLA laboratories. Whether you are a recent sciences graduate or an experienced Lab Specialist with a Certified Histotechnology Technician (CHT) certification, we have a position tailored to your skill level and experience.  

Every day your work will help save and improve lives in your community through the blood and transfusion medicine services Vitalant provides.  

 

What to Expect 

Schedule/Location:  1st Shift - Wednesday to Sunday

8:00 am - 4:30 pm (or 7:00 am start)

To thrive in this role, you must be able to: 

Perform high complexity testing in histocompatibility, including molecular typing, antibody testing, and flow cytometric crossmatching.  Provide technical support to hospital transplantation services. Participates in sample preparation, reagent management, quality control, preventative maintenance and validations.Be patient and detailed.

Qualifications 

Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent CLIA requirements for high complexity testing required.
