Never **Responsibilities - Clinical Laboratory Scientist Coord:** + Responsible for coordinating and leading the daily operations of the laboratory, including scheduling and supervisory duties as required, and using independent judgment to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction we are able. + Prioritizes, delegates and oversees all phases of the laboratory process, ensuring all established processes, policies and procedures for the laboratory are followed to ensure accurate, reliable, and timely results are reported. + Oversees the quality assurance and quality management programs and ensures they are followed and follows up as appropriate with any deviations in process. + Ensures ongoing laboratory compliance with all appropriate regulatory organizations, and all facility and system wide requirements, including monitoring proficiency testing. + Responsible for laboratory education and training of all team members, including orientation, acting as trainer and preceptor, ensuring competency documentation, and being a resource and mentor. + Assists with gathering and monitoring data to achieve laboratory goals. + In the incidence of the manager or supervisors' absence, assist with additional duties such as scheduling staffing, attending meetings, etc. **Education** + **Required:** Bachelors - Biological Science + Or, Bachelors - Clinical Science Related **Credentials:** + **Required:** Clinical Lab Technologist + **Required:** State of Florida - Clinical Laboratory Technologist License **Experience:** + **Required:** **Clinical Laboratory** _Equal Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled_ **Position** Clinical Laboratory Scientist Coord **Location** Clearwater:Morton Plant | Clinical | Full Time **Req ID** null
