CDR Labs is seeking individuals who are interested in working as a Laboratory Supervisor for our team. This position will be responsible for complex laboratory procedures and have broad decision-making authority and independence. This classification requires extensive knowledge of science, laboratory procedures, and medical terminology to perform diagnostic tests.
This is a day shift position, and you will be responsible for managing the lab and staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Provide day-to-day and direct supervision of high complexity test performance by a qualified testing personnel.
+ Responsible for providing training to qualified testing personnel and annual performance reviews.
+ Monitor test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.
+ Ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies.
+ Responsible for the administration of all Quality Control Programs in compliance with CLIA and CAP standards.
+ Assist in the inventory management and ordering.
OTHER PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
+ Other duties that may arise from time-to-time and/or are commensurate with the position.

Requirements
+ Must have a Florida State License for Clinical Laboratory Supervisor and the qualification in Generalist or in Microbiology, Serology/Immunology, Clinical Chemistry, Hematology & Immunohematology.
+ Bachelor’s in Science degree in a chemistry, biochemistry, biological sciences, or related fields.
+ 2+ years of previous supervisory experience (preferred).
