Job Description
Perform analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to aid health care providers in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients. Testing is performed in specialized laboratories and may include highly skilled manual techniques or automated testing using sophisticated instrumentation.
ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain laboratory instrumentation and assay systems.Troubleshoot assays and evaluate tests for accuracy.Assist with interpreting results and providing operational support to optimize testing.Retrieve information and report results using multiple computer systems.Assist with specimen collection as needed.Adhere to safety protocols when working with infectious specimens, chemicals, and other hazards.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in chemistry or a human biological science (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Animal Science, Marine Biology, Neuroscience, etc.).Will accept Master's degree but not PhD or engineering degrees.Will accept OPTPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00
