**Req Number** 156309 FlexStaff is looking for dedicated LPNs to join the team at a leading in-patient addiction treatment center in Brooklyn, NY on a temporary basis (possibility to become permanent). With both days and nights shifts available, you choose what fits best for you! Flexible Shifts: + Day: 7 AM - 7 PM + Night: 7 PM - 7 AM + Workdays include weekends, with flexible scheduling! In this vital role, you'll provide skilled nursing care under the guidance of our expert RNs. Be a part of a supportive team helping patients on their journey to recovery! Ideal Candidate Requirements: + NYS LPN License & Diploma from an NLN accredited program + Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in Substance Abuse or Psychiatry Key Responsibilities: + Safely administer medications per provider orders + Document patient progress notes, including COWS scores, CIWA scores, and vitals + Record all patient activities like admissions, discharges, and ER visits in EMR + Track detox process and behavioral responses + Log treatment interventions and patient responses + Educate patients on medications and ensure comprehension and compliance + Communicate treatment plan changes with interdisciplinary teams + Conduct daily checks of emergency equipment + Manage unit inventory of medications, supplies, and equipment + Prepare and forward diet order forms + Report and document nursing incidents during shifts Make a lasting impact while advancing your career in a dynamic and rewarding setting.
