What You’ll Bring
A nursing diploma from an accredited program; Bachelor’s degree is preferred.A current license in good standing as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in Ontario.5–10 years of progressive experience in healthcare, ideally in home care, hospital, retirement, or long-term care settings.Completion of Continuing Education Units (CEUs) as required by regulation.A proven ability to build and maintain referral relationships and navigate the Canadian healthcare system, including OHIP and the Public Guardian and Trustee.Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient care best practices, and infection prevention and control protocols.A leadership style that reflects Bayshore’s values of compassion, excellence, and reliability.Experience in discharge planning and working within team-based care environments.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business technologies.Strong communication skills and the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
