POSITION OVERVIEW:
Supervises clinical practice and day to day operations of outpatient clinics. Is responsible for assisting with development of policies, procedures, orientation, and nursing practice within the clinic setting. Works collaboratively with the nursing directors, providers, staff and patients. Other responsibilities include: assisting with interviewing and hiring of qualified staff, evaluations, coaching and discipline, overseeing of staff competencies, assisting with developing new programs, education of staff and patients, scheduling, and customer service follow up. The clinical manager will assist with quality review and reporting, compliance, safety and infection control and regulatory body compliance and monitoring. Identify efficient and cost-effective workflows. Receives direction from: Senior Director of Clinical Operations and Directors Outpatient Clinical Services.
EDUCATION:
Nursing degree (BSN, preferred) or bachelor's degree in healthcare fieldEXPERIENCE:
5 years of nursing experience or healthcare management 2 years of outpatient or physician office setting experience, preferredLICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS:
MT State RN license, if applicableKNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
General nursing office procedures Leadership principles and mentoring/training of staff; in-depth knowledge of organizational policies and procedures. Basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office; proficiency in E.H.R. documentation, excellent written and oral communication skills.
