Overview The Clinical Neuropsychologist will provide a broad scope of professional psychological services with focus primarily on diagnostic assessment and consultation with professional staff at WakeMed Health & Hospitals, with primary setting at Cary Hospital location. Diagnostic assessment will include cognitive screening for inpatients and comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations for outpatients with a variety of medical diagnoses. The Clinical Neuropsychologist will also provide consultation and education to staff and other professionals regarding the impact of affective, behavioral, and cognitive changes on the patient's responses to and recovery from disability, illness and trauma. A neuropsychologist with interests in stroke, brain injury and geriatrics will be the best fit for this position.
