JOB SUMMARY:As part of the behavioral health treatment team, the Clinical Neuropsychologist provides diagnostic assessment, neuropsychological testing, and feedback sessions completed in person. The Clinical Neuropsychologist develops treatment plans and delivers feedback to patients, families, and care teams as appropriate. The Clinical Neuropsychologist has opportunities to provide interdisciplinary care and will collaborate with other professionals including physicians, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychologists, social workers and therapists. The Clinical Neuropsychologist sees patients with a variety of backgrounds and reasons for referral, including concern for a variety of brain-behavioral concerns including neurodevelopmental disability, attention deficit, hyperactivity disorder, learning and achievement differences, complex neuropsychodiagnostics and neurological insult or injury. The Clinical Neuropsychologist may assist in staff development through consultation, education and supervision as well as assist in program development when requested. The Clinical Neuropsychologist supports and implements patient safety and other safety practices as appropriate. The Clinical Neuropsychologist supports and demonstrates Family and Community Centered Care principles when interacting with patients and their families and with co-workers.

EXPERIENCE:
1 years Minimum of full-time internship required.Familiar with laws regarding commitment, confidentiality, vulnerable adult, child protection and patients’ rights.
Knowledge about resources for outpatient and supportive care, and public policy regarding mental health in Minnesota.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Licensed Psychologist Licensure by the State of Minnesota Board of Psychology must be obtained within 18 months of employment. 1 1/2 Yrs RequiredSuccessful compliance with Minnesota Law, Chapter 372 relating to sexual exploitation of patients by staff providing psychotherapy services. Required
Board-Certified or eligible for Neuropsychology board-certification. Required
