CLINICAL NURSE EXPERT- BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Summary

Under limited supervision, the Clinical Expert (CNE) applies influence across the three spheres of patient/family, staff, and system to transform healthcare delivery.  The CNE maintains up to date and evidence based knowledge in area of expertise.  Collaborates with other interdisciplinary/interprofessional health care professionals and service providers to ensure seamless, quality care across the continuum. Exemplifies the Professional Practice Model.  A key success factor is the ability to work collaboratively with all levels within the organization, across the LifeBridge system, and with our community partners.  This position works under the direct supervision and direction of the assigned Director.    The CNE serves as educator for the assigned unit in the absences of a dedicated educator.  In this situation, the CNE provides on-going education and educational functions based on the unit’s educational processes. 

Experience: 3-5 Years

Education: BSN Required

Certifications: BLS/CPR from the American Heart Association & RN License
