Clinical Nurse Leader Progressive Care Unit Nights
Job Description

This is a full time position working day shift in the Progressive Care Unit at Northwest Medical Center. 

What you'll do:

The Registered Nurse Clinical Nurse Leader participates in increased levels of care in a dynamic Acute Care / Progressive Care Unit setting that provides quality care to higher acuity patients. 

This increased surveillance 28 bed unit offers a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio while providing high quality care to our patients. Nurses can develop their skill set by providing for patients that include: post cardiac surgery and Cath Lab procedures, alcohol withdrawal, heart and respiratory failure, dysrhythmias, rattlesnake bites, hypo/hypertension, requiring medication drips, and many more. 

Plans, directs, and evaluates the overall nursing care and functions in a particular nursing unit or during an assigned shift. Coordinates the activities of the unit and directs, organizes, and assigns work. Assesses, monitors, and educates on patient care. Institutes emergency procedures as necessary.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education:

Required:  Associates or Diploma in nursing program Preferred:  Bachelor's degree in nursing                                                

Experience: 

 

Two (2) years of experience in specialty area required. One (1) year in supervisory capacity preferred.  

Licenses/Certifications:        

Required:

Current Arizona RN license or compact state license

American Heart Association (AHA)  or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS & ACLS
