Clinical Nurse Specialist - Cardiovascular Services - Nursing Magnet in Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center in Mission, Viejo, CA. This is a full-time, day shift position.
The Clinical Nurse Specialist is a clinical leader with advanced skills and knowledge in designated clinical areas. Functions independently as role model, clinician, educator, patient/family advocate, consultant, leader, and researcher. Plans and provides formal and informal education programs necessary to improve professional and technical competence of nursing staff to improve the quality and the delivery of care. Is accountable for the clinical, quality, and financial outcomes for a defined patient population. Initiates and facilitates multidisciplinary care teams in review, analysis, and change in clinical practice.

Required qualifications:
Master's Degree in Nursing California Registered Nurse License upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire Certification from national professional specialty organization within 3 years of hire. 3 years of Clinical experience in area(s) of specialization.Why Join Providence?
