Did you know? CNSs are one of the 4 advanced practice registered nurses (APRNs)-clinical nurse specialists, certified nurse midwives, nurse anesthetists, and certified nurse practitioners.
Role Overview:
Provide clinical leadership in the areas of evidence-based oncology nursing practice, education, consultation, and research.Provide support to MSK's patients with cancer diagnosis and the nursing staff who care for them.Coordinate implementation of practice standards with colleagues across sites.Demonstrate positive quality outcomes as it relates to nurse-sensitive indicators and patient and staff satisfaction.Promote a patient-centered environment through collaboration with nursing leaders and multidisciplinary teams.Support and cultivate Relationship Based Care in all aspects of care delivery.Disseminate MSK oncology nursing practice standards and outcomes through abstract submission, podium presentation, and evidence-based research findings.You have:
Current RN license with CNS qualification required. NY State RN license and NY State CNS qualification preferred (can be obtained during the first 6 months of employment)Masters in NursingNational certification3+ years of related oncology experienceExperience in an advanced nursing role is strongly preferred.Self-direction and strong interpersonal skills are essential.Core Skills:

Additional Information:
Location: 1275 York Avenue, NYC Reporting to The Nurse Leader, Evidence-Based Practice Schedule: This is a Day shift CNS position, 4 10-hour shifts, with weekend coverage.Pay Range: $130,700 - $215,800
