Clinical Nurse - Transition Post Anesthesia Care Unit

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of PreOp, PACU, Surgical ICU, or Surgical IMU. Will rotate to PreOp/PACU and TPACU.
12 hour shift - 7pm - 7am or 6pm - 6am with on call and weekends.

The Clinical Nurse is responsible for seeking out and maintaining knowledge regarding relevant empirical outcomes, including the impact of quality improvement initiatives and institutional best practices on the patient population, nursing workforce and institution, as reflected in unit and institutional metrics.
EducationGraduation from an accredited school of professional nursing. No experience required.
Experience
All clinical nurses with less than one year registered nurse (RN) work experience will be required to participate in the Clinical Nurse Residency Program.
Certifications/Licensure
Current State of Texas Professional Nursing license (RN). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification if working in the following department: Nrsg Post Anesthesia Care Unit (600160).
