IU Health has an outstanding opportunity available for a Clinical Wound Ostomy Nurse to join our team at our Methodist Hospital location. This is a Full-Time benefit eligible role that works Monday-Friday role on our day shift.

The Clinical Wound Ostomy Nurse provides direction and coordination for a specific patient population with disorders of the gastrointestinal, genitourinary and integumentary systems. The primary area of expertise is in the wound ostomy and continence management. This Clinical Nurse also serves as a consultant to the health care team in area of expertise.

Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN); Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred. Requires current state of Indiana license as Registered Nurse. Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Requires current certification in Wound Ostomy Continence Nursing (CWOCN) within 1 year of becoming eligible for certification.
