The Clinical Nursing Supervisor of our Progressive Care Unit supports the Manager, Nursing Staff, and Health Team by coordinating patient care, serving as a resource for clinical decision-making, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. This role encompasses clinical, educational, administrative, and research responsibilities while maintaining compliance with ethical, legal, and professional standards. This role combines leadership, clinical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate patient care activities and ensure adherence to laws and regulations.Support RNs in care planning, advocacy, and decision-making.Provide education and mentorship to staff, patients, and families.Assist with staff management, resource allocation, and unit operations.Participate in Quality Assurance initiatives and integrate nursing research into practice.Perform direct patient care as needed and collaborate on staffing decisions.Qualifications:
