A caregiver in this position works the day shift from 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. 

 

A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, regulatory standards and handling human resource issues. 

Participate as a CHN management team member to assist in long-range planning. 

Carry out strategic clinical nutrition initiatives for the health system. 

Supervise assigned personnel including Registered Dietitians, Dietetic Technicians, and Clinical Assistants 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Master's degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field. 

Completion of an Academy Nutrition and Dietetics-approved dietetic internship (or equivalent dietitian-qualifying experience) and current certification as a registered dietitian (RD). 

 Current license to practice dietetics in the State of Ohio (LD). 

Three years of experience as a practicing dietitian in a clinical setting. 

Two years of supervisory/leadership experience with proven ability to lead the work of others.

Physical Requirements:

A high degree of dexterity to produce materials on a PC; normal or corrected vision to normal range; extensive sitting and frequent walking; occasional lifting or carrying 5 to 15 pounds.
