Provides instruction and support for staff that prepares and serve meals to residents living in higher. Levels of service who require specialized nutritional interventions. Work as part of the interdisciplinary
clinical team providing resident care. Coordinate with the RD on resident charts and nutrition
programs. Expanded distinct duties may be attached to this document.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
Comply with all applicable rules, policies, standards, and guidelines related to employment with
Westminster Communities.
Write care plans for the Health Center residents. Assist in the menu planning for the Health Center residents. Oversee daily Health Care dining room meal service. Provide and input weekly & monthly Health Center resident’s weight loss information. Chart, document and provide input for resident’s dietary requirements. Produce MDS and CAA reports; includes response with corrective action for MDS trigger points.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Certified Dietary Manager or Licensure as a Certified Diet Technician or Registered Dietitian required.
Florida SafeStaff Certification required or ability to obtain certification within
90 days of date of hire.
Experience: Proficiency with computer programs including Microsoft Office.
Proficiency with data-base types of menu systems for menu
forecasting, menu building and recipe creation.
Supervisory Leadership.
Requirements: Ability to learn computer programs as defined by Westminster Communities of Florida.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
