Clinical Oncology Specialist, GYN

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Clinical Oncology Specialist - GYN Oncology (COS - GYN) establishes, develops and grows a geography to exceed sales goals for our first to market MRD CtDNA test, Signatera, CGP assay Altera, and Germline test Empower within the GU Oncology space with a focus on Gynecologic Oncologists, Medical Oncologist, Pathologists and all other providers within the continuum of care. 

 

LOCATION: This position covers North Tampa, FL

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for creating a strategic territory plan, managing all business results and ROI including but not limited to: daily sales activity, new account acquisition, retaining existing customer base while growing sales, implementing cross functional initiatives, effectively utilizing resources and establishing processes for appropriate patient identification and treatment management. 

Develop trusted relationships, physician and account education, identifying strategic opportunities and delivering innovative solutions.

Learn Natera products, services, processes, policies, key internal teams, as well as competitor’s products, services, policies and practices, and payer/reimbursement landscape.

Achievement of sales objectives with a primary focus on driving new patients, users, & accounts while partnering with the Associate Clinical Oncology Specialist (ACOS) and internal stakeholders to drive order renewals, solve Missing Information (MI) & manage revenue and expenses.

Develop and maintain KOL relationships through partnership with the Medical team. 

Drive strategic business opportunities and partnerships with Academic and Community cancer centers, clinics and hospitals within a specified territory such as working with key stakeholders to develop care pathways, establish institutional partnerships and secure EMR integrations.

Develop a comprehensive business plan to gain and retain new and existing clients that aligns with our national goals and organizational values.

Execute sales strategies and tactics, implementation of sales and marketing plan, pull through opportunities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor’s degree required.

5+ years of experience with consistent success in Gynecologic Oncology, Medical Oncology, Surgical, Pathology or Laboratory sales experience with documented results. Dx sales is preferred.

Knowledge of the targeted GYN Oncology/Oncology market, molecular diagnostics, personalized medicine and reimbursement.

Ability to perform overnight travel.

Demonstrated leadership capabilities, financial management and written and oral communications skills

A valid driver's license and safe driving record.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Duties are typically performed in a medical office or hospital setting.

This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, communicate over the telephone and read printed material.

Duties may require working outside normal working hours (evenings and weekends) at times.

50% of travel required

The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.Remote USA$185,000—$225,000 USD
