Clinical Operations Manager Nursing Administration Full Time Days

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for the coordination of the Nursing Supervisors, PCT Float Pool, Agency/Contract Labor, Nurse Extern Program and CDU. The Administrative Clinical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the procurement of contract labor including per diem agency; coaches and develops Nursing Supervisor personnel; manages the day to day activities of the Nursing Supervisor Office. Specific duties include monitoring the productivity of staffing office personnel, Kronos timekeeping, procurement of supplemental staff, critical thinking to oversee staff utilization with input from nursing leaders. Develops staffing programs & reports to manage staff productivity, overtime and utilization and shares these reports with members of Administration. Maintains all budgets, matrices and position control reports for staffing office personnel. Communicates with nursing leaders to ensure a financial understanding of their respective budgets, including contract labor. Implements and maintains spreadsheets for contract usage, schedule usage, sitting hours, and finance billing. Qualifications

Minimum Education / Licensure / Certifications

Current Valid Florida RN Licensure

BLS Certification

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred

Excellent Interpersonal and Analytical Skills

This position requires knowledge of all aspects and details of patient care services; this includes TJC standards, Provisions of the FL Nurse Practice Act, Infection Control and Quality Improvement Practices.

Minimum Experience

2-3 Years Previous Experience in an Acute Care Facility

Physical Requirements

2.   Lifting up to 40 lbs.
