Job Description

Facilitates and manages ongoing department operations, including quality, service, fiscal, and human resources processes. Supports and ensures that comprehensive patient care services are provided that support the integrity of the family system and patient care team. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

Experience

2 years of experience in management/administration

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced education in business, management, or related fieldProfessional nurse certificationExperience in management in a healthcare settingPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) (check department-specific recommendation)

Education

Bachelor of Science in nursing

Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure CompactBasic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employmentProfessional Nursing Certification required upon hire or within one year of hire
