Job Description
As a Clinical Packaging Technician, you will work under direct supervision to perform normal operating routines. You will be responsible for performing packaging activities to support the efficient running of packaging equipment within required timelines. You will evaluate pharmaceutical products for safety and regulatory purposes, ensuring GMPs are upheld in production and packaging processes.
ResponsibilitiesPerform visual inspection of products at 35-minute intervals with 35-minute breaks between inspections.Monitor and retrieve required materials to ensure efficient packaging operations.Perform packaging line clean-up and assist with set-up activities per GMP compliance standards.Take a proactive approach to minimize equipment stoppage and idle time.Perform all job responsibilities in compliance with applicable regulations, standard operating procedures, and industry practices.Adhere to all Quality System policies and procedures as applicable for the functional area.Understand the daily packaging schedule, monitor scrap levels and equipment performance, and address or escalate as required.Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Environmental, Health, and Safety standards.Communicate events that may affect the packaging schedule in a timely manner.Ensure fulfillment of on-the-job training requirements.Demonstrate the ability to work cross-functionally with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Facilities, Engineering, Materials Management, and other business units.Participate in all required and appropriate training.Ability to work shifts and overtime as required.Essential SkillsMust have a High School Diploma or GED.Attention to detail.Packaging experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or related fields.OR a BS degree in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or biomedical.20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses and the ability to distinguish and identify colors.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with packaging, labeling, cleaning, aseptic cleaning, clean rooms, inspection, quality inspection, SOPs, and GMP compliance.Work Environment
The work environment includes first and second shift options. The first shift runs from Tuesday to Friday (5:45 am - 4:15 pm), and the second shift runs from Monday to Thursday (3:45 pm - 2:15 am).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.15 - $26.63
