QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Training
• Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Pharmacy or a PharmD, from an accredited college or university
· Licensed and in good standing with Provincial College of Pharmacists to be able to provide direct patient care
• Injection training (asset)
• CPR (asset)
Experience
• Experience within a specialty pharmacy would be an asset
Other Skills and Abilities
• Strong attention to detail within a fast-paced environment
· Clinically focused
• Experience with Kroll computer software
• Strong communication skills via phone/email and in person
• Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment
· Motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work independently
• Computer ability (word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs, etc.)
Language Skills
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write/draft reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients, nurses, and physicians.
• Ability to speak French (asset)
Reasoning Ability
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.
