Education and Training
Bachelor's Degree (BSc) in Pharmacy or a PharmD, from an accredited college or university
Licensed and in good standing with Provincial College of Pharmacists to be able to provide direct patient care
Injection training (asset)
CPR (asset)
Experience
Experience within a specialty pharmacy would be an asset
Other Skills and Abilities
Strong attention to detail within a fast-paced environment
Clinically focused
Experience with Kroll computer software
Strong communication skills via phone/email and in person
Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment
Motivated, self-disciplined, and able to work independently
Computer ability (word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs, etc.)
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write/draft reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients, nurses, and physicians.
Ability to speak French (asset)
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.
